Bad Dog Army Combat Engineering Mech

I promised some friends I'd post some macro shots of my RAFM conversions. Here's an Army CAS-1-Mod-1EV Ape, engineering mecha.

Rear view. Towing cables to go.

Below side view.

And, here shows all the magnetized parts, which allow me to take pictures of different poses for reference for a book cover.

Catch you all on the bounce.

    1. Thank you. I like the forestry mechs too. The only problem I ever had were the blind boxes, which is why I didn't get any until I was found a bunch on sale at a wargame show. It was a glorious find.

    2. I stayed with the blind box era from start to finish. It was a mixed bag but I made many lifelong friends in that mad wizkids decade. The same magic that classic tabletop did when we were all a little younger. Sure wish we were neighbors. My friends are also wicked miniature builders and painters.

    3. Me too. All the people who I've met through my blog and wargaming livingnear to each other so we could all hang out would be my idea of heaven.

  3. Oh yes - very snazzy indeed! Very reminiscent of German WW2 "Bergepanzer" vehicles
    Great job Ashley!

    1. Cheers, Paul. Engineering vehicles are super cool. Gotta get around to making the medic suit at some point.
